About
Dr. Laxmi Sharma is a dedicated research scholar and author whose work sits at the intersection of political science and public administration. Holding an M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., LL.B., and an M.Sc. in Information Technology, her research examines Indian political thought, governance structures, and the institutions that carry democracy from policy into practice.
Her published work spans eight books and numerous articles in reputed journals, covering subjects from Panchayati Raj accountability to Indian foreign policy and the challenges of corruption in public life. She is recognised as a scholar with the Indian Social Sciences Research Institution, New Delhi, and is an active member of the Indian Political Science Association, Delhi.
Beyond academia, she is the Founder-Chairman of Beti Foundation, an NGO devoted to the welfare of women, children, and the underprivileged, and serves as Director of Hair Masters Luxury Salon.
